Re-Size Images

Open up your picture in Adobe Photoshop.

Go to Image and down to Image Size.

In the lower left make sure Resample Image is clicked OFF.

Hit OK

Now use your crop tool to set your image to the size you want and then hit Image...Crop.

Now do a File...SaveAs and You might want to change the name by simply adding a number or letter to the end of the original file name. E.g.. the original file name was joy.jpg now it is going to be saved as joy1.jpg. You may want to have a separate folder for these images.

When you click save after renaming a screen for jpeg options will appear. Select under image options..quality...Maximum and now hit OK.

You can check your result by going back to Image...Image Size

You are now ready to burn to CD or ...

If you do any work on your picture in Photoshop and want to return to that picture to work on it again it would be advisable to save it as a TIFF file so that you don't lose quality every time you resave the image.
